How To Calculate Rates |
| 1. |
Establish the closest hubs to the delivery and destination addresses respectively. Follow these headings to get a per kg rate and minimum charge. |
| 2. |
Determine the weight of your package
in kilograms (round off to the next whole kilogram). |
| 3. |
For Deferred Domestic Roadfreight: Main Centres:
Calculate the weight x per kg rate. If the amount is less than the minimum charge, then the cost = minumum charge.
|
| 4. |
For Deferred Domestic Roadfreight: Regional Areas:
If the weight of your package is less than the weight break, then the cost will be the minimum amount. If not, then calculate the difference between the weight of your package an the weight break. Multiply this figure with the per kg rate, and then add the minimum charge to this.
